The artikel uber "die Mauer im Kopf" was interessant in that there is still odd blood between the some East and West Germans. It was especiialy interessant reading about the man who felt he had more freedom when he could complain at work. However, I think the artikel is wirklich unreflective of the real world, especially in 2014, a decade after the artikel was written. I say this primarily because as a 1993 baby, the Cold War feels as far away as WW2 and WW1.

Die Artikel uber Norte und South Deutschland reminds me of the playful fun we have mocking those hil'billy, overly hospitable, Confederate Sourtherns with their accents and their Waffle Houses. Really, I'm sure no one is much prejudice, especially the youth.
